Just wondering where everyone get their rocks from? Being in S. Ont doesn't allow for many opportunities to go hounding (pretty much beach rocks- with granite and marble mixed in- and it's minus freeze your bits off right now) and am wondering where to buy from... i have a 7" skil tile saw and would like to "play the rock lottery" (never know whats inside and it's plenty cheaper than a visit to the local casino lol)... so i guess i'm looking for a reputable place with reasonable prices for some rough/shipping (aside from ebay- costs me $5 for every parcel i get from the U.S. post office and multi packages add up quickly and can only order 40lbs max)... guessing 3"-4" rough? Still learning so go easy please.... so anything anyone can suggest would be awesome... thanks in advance edit: think i'm mostly looking for jaspers... picture jaspers being top of the list

Is S. Ont southern Ontario? Bancroft is the mineral capital of Canada. Over 300 found there. Canada's largest rock show end of July, or early August. Check it out.
Also, check out The Rock Shed and Stone Age Industries for rough rock. I have been happy with both.
Darryl.
