Hi all, I have about 15 5 - 8 inch diameter, 3 inch wide, 1 inch bore Lever Lock or Split Rim polishing wheels to gt rid of. New, these cost $65 at Covington engineering. I'm asking $20 each. I can get one in a medium flat rate USPS box, or 2 in a large USPS flat rate box. Postage not included in my price, sorry. Here's what Covington says about them: "Lever-Lock Drums are made of sturdy cast aluminum and balanced to reduce vibration. The 3" rim is covered with sponge rubber. The lock area is threaded for setscrew-operated clamp, just loosen to remove the old cloth and retighten to secure the new." For their complete info, go to: Covington's infoThanks! Phil And here are some pics: Thanks again!

Thanks again, phil! Phil went out of his way and placed a belt on the lever-lock drum for me, which I greatly appreciate. He also added some beautiful travertine rough to the box for me to wreak havoc upon. This is the second time I've purchased lapidary goodies from Phil, and I highly recommend his goods!

She's pretty too? Dang, wish I'd have known..... <big grin> You had but to ask... She was looking for beginners rock, and I had some that was perfect. I just posted a trade offer for my lolly rock, but if you'd rather trade for travertine/opalite, can do that too....

I to have purchased 2 wheels from Phil and they are right on and brand new!!!!!!!! I'm going to coat them with my homemade diamond compound eventually but I ran up on a used 3" wide 220grit 3M diamond belt which made me 3 belts for the 8" thumper's. I don't mind the thumping.
Phil had mine covered covered too so I had a great pattern to start with. Thanks Phil..............

We'd need to measure the circumference and then try and find a belt..... You could always just buy some felt at the fabric store and cut to fit? I think there's room to fit it in the lever slot....

For heavy felt, try a place that does repairs on motor homes. They use a heavy, almost 3/16" thick synthetic felt to line the outside storage cabinets. It's great for polishing. It'll be way too thick to fit in the slot, so why not use feathering cement and glue a band all the way around ?
Phil, gotta check to see how many bump wheels I have. I may need to get a couple from you.

What kind of belts do those take? Do you have any left?

I got these at this price because she wants to get rid of them.
