Well done. I am w/Jimi, #3. #2 may be a sleeper though.

Poor pic of #2, it is really bright in color, with a red matrix sealing all the broken pieces together. I have not done it justice here, it is my favorite of all. The colors are closer to those in #3. I found them in the same place on the same day. I think they must have been part of the same rock at some time in history. If the sun is out and the temps in double digits tomorrow "maybe" I can get an outdoors photo (stupid camera locks up in the cold- grrrrr).

this one was probably an agate at one time. this one seems to have feldspar this one is a worn ancient mess, has white/clear and greyish green infilling between broken pieces and in some places covering it. completely infilled and covered with white/clear colorful opposite side of #3 above

last one, this shows ole #2 in closer to its real self. lots of color and complex pattern. This was taken the day I found it in natural sunlight.

Enjoyed your pics, snowmom. Really like the last ones and the colors in #3's opposite side.

We may need to get a saw for you somehow. I know we all want to see these cut!!
#1 reminds me... I was so focused on the breccia that I left with Wayne, I completely forgot to tell you that the green one you sent with the label ?Serpentine. Wayne did a hardness test and thinks it might be jadeite. It was too hard for serpentine. I left it with him to test further.

That would be so exciting it sets my head spinning to think about it! ( picture me bouncing up and down with excitement, I AM) I had hopes of maybe finding nephrite, but jadeite... woo hooo.
