I think some of those brownish areas on there are copper, just not sure. Thought perhaps the green was moss too, but don't think it is. It was part of someones collection that was given to me.

I'm not a proffesional identifier.but I'd say some sort of copper ore, and my reason for saying so is I've got some that looks just like it.except I soaked mine in acid to leave just the copper Dave

I've never seen copper in cubic form.
First wild guess without thinking too much on it...
Green = Mimetite White = Calcite Brown = Wuflenite
guessing from Mexico
guess subject to change once I quit thinking about it!

I have some samples from Hampton Butte that look similar. Will try to get some pictures later tonight.

Petrified wood? Don't see that, but would love to see your examples!

Petrified wood? Don't see that, but would love to see your examples! In looking at mine I see that it is totally different but here are couple of pictures.

the green is pistachio green which around here would translate to olivine. unless it is plant matter of some sort. The coppery color could be bronzite, a metallic colored form of enstatite. I am real bad at identifying crystals, that needs to be an area of study for me. Have you tried scratch tests on it? It looks like maybe a bit of serpentine or serpentinite between the "wings" and lower center of the photo. ?

In my opinion I would say the white is quartz, the green looks more like epidote to me and the cubes limonite after pyrite.

whitish-colored areas = quartz or calcite?? greenish-colored areas = smithsonite or conichalcite?? brown cubic xtals and areas = limonite after pyrite (pseudomorph)?? Donnie's Rocky Treasures, nice specimen!! Someone may be able to help id your specimen if you take some close-up shots of it.

I still think the green is epidote. Compare the specimen to these pics of epidote and quartz: www.fabreminerals.com/LargePhoto.php?FILE=specimens/s_imagesZ4/Epidote-NX13Z4d.jpg&CODE=NX13Z4&NAME=Epidote%20with%20Quartz%20-%20Mina%20de%20Aguablanca,%20Badajoz,%20Spain&LANG=EN&TIT=Epidote%20with%20Quartz%20-%20Mina%20de%20Aguablanca,%20Badajoz,%20Spain%20|%20Fabre%20Minerals www.fabreminerals.com/LargePhoto.php?FILE=specimens/s_imagesZ4/Epidote-NY61Z4d.jpg&CODE=NY61Z4&NAME=Epidote%20with%20Quartz,%20Andradite%20and%20Pyrite%20-%20Mina%20de%20Aguablanca,,%20Spain&LANG=EN&TIT=Epidote%20with%20Quartz,%20Andradite%20and%20Pyrite%20-%20Mina%20de%20Aguablanca,,%20Spain%20|%20Fabre%20Minerals

Whatever it is, it's interesting and pretty.
Pure guess: the metallic might be pyrite; don't think copper comes in cubes

Hmm, mindat.org shows some pretty boxy looking copper. Go here: www.mindat.org/min-1209.htmlWow, those are beautiful, and thanks for posting the link, Mrs. Pat! Could be epidote, vegasjames. You must have very good eyesight. I cannot discern anything about the green mystery mineral other than the color.

Wulfenite Donnie, can you post a more detailed picture?

I'm with vegas james. Epidote is more likely to be pistachio green than is olivine. Telling quartz from calcite (use acid or a scratch test) should be easy.
