Good looking bones!
Is there a way to discern the original owner of the bone, or the locale where the dinosaur died ?
True recycling !

I don't think there is enough evidence in these but IT IS possible to distinguish certain dinos by cell pattern.
These cabs I received from Larry Martin(the guy who's set of Megalodon teeth, which is the largest set of articulated megalodon teeth found to date, discovered in a beach area phosphate mine) are shown on Shark Week but Gordon Hubble actually has them in the video. Anywho...
Larry got them from Tom Helfrich around 20 years ago. Tom is the one wrote and self published the book American Dinosaur, The Vanishing Of Gembone. The only person who has written a book about Gem grade dinosaur bone. He died shortly. Only 250 copies and some folks in Utah copied the book and forged his signature and numbered them. Dirty rats. You can tell the fake signatures pretty easy. Black and blue ink is forged. Green is original signature.
Tom was a very well known gembone collector who cut and polished.
There really isn't a whole lot of dino dealers left, and actually there is 3-4 that dominate the market. If you go to Quartzsite you know who I am referring to. They have been going for decades now.
ok I hope you enjoyed my useless information.lol

Beautiful bone.
I am sure there would be a lot LOT more of it available if the gubment didn't have there nose in it. And museums have tons of it stuck away where nobody can see it for ? ? ? Come on and speak up, there must be a reason for it. Yea, I thought so.
Sorry about going political on your beautiful post but I have a feeling that you have the same feeling. Jim

Whoa! These must be strictly for display. I bet it would be cool to see your collection at home.

there is history that goes along with pretty much all the dino bones I have. Even the cabochons.
