A few years ago I found a vertical vent that was full of quartz crystals. the outer rind of hole was stuff like this. The crystal points were all in the center. Nothing real great but very interesting. A few of the tips were very clear but most a bit cloudy. I only went down about 4 feet. Would be interesting

to go deeper.
