Right now I'm still rough grinding some self-collected material in one 12-lb barrel - flint from Flint Ridge, and a bunch of stuff from the Michigan UP - unakite, granite, jaspellite, copper ore, iron ore.
In my other 12-lb barrel I have mixed obsidian in the 220 phase finishing its 2nd week. Then on to 600...

I'm running three 12lb Lortones with all slabs and slabbettes. Put a lb of 80 grit and run for 18-21 days normally without opening,then on to Lotos.

Montanas and lakers and they are taking forever! My last big batch was that kind of load,it was a month and a half from start to finish,but they came out great..

Aborted a run of chloropal after a week - its colour resembles only cow dung; quite, quite disappointed.
