My cell phone/Insta photo isn't the best, but in person these guys did take a decent polish in the rotary tumbler in a mixed batch. For my next experiment, I will try an entire rock barrel and see how it goes. Don't expect results for a couple of months though since I only do rotary...

Those look really nice out of rough tumble, peachfront! How many months will you tumble them in your rotary?

Thanks, peachfront. How large are the t-eggs, and which tumbler are you using to tumble them?

Very nice! Are the blues that pretty in real life?

Thanks, peachfront. How large are the t-eggs, and which tumbler are you using to tumble them? The largest pair with the blue agate inside has faces roughly the size of a US quarter or slightly larger. I don't think I can tumble eggs much bigger than that. My equipment is the same old Chicago Harbor Freight rotary I've stuck with because it's quiet and I live in a neighborhood of small houses fairly close together so I'm afraid to change equipment. I know I could get faster results with a Lot O Tumbler like I had in the wayback but I'm really concerned about noise now...

Very nice! Are the blues that pretty in real life? Yes but I had to take them outside to photograph in daylight to catch the color for my Instagram. I seem to do OK with blues. This set-up really greys out oranges but fortunately not a problem with this particular photo.
