I picked this up on eBay. I got it from Ron's Rocks (RLE). He knows his stuff but sold this as a mystery. It was a real small piece. I got one biggish cab from it. Here is his picture. I had to desaturate it a bit.... Here are the cab pictures. The colors are not quite right. The pink and purple squiggles are floating in very distinctly blue agate. Very, very pretty. The actual stone is probably a mix between my pictures and his. SOOOOOO....... any guesses??

Wow, awesome! Not a clue what it is but I like the colors a lot. I know Ron and he did mine a lot of Henderson Purple agate in Nevada and used to sell it at shows. I have some rough around somewhere that I bought from him. Maybe that is a weird variant..Mel

I wouldn't mind getting my hands on some more of this.

Whoa, that's an incredibly attractive stone. Reminds me a little of Bertrandite. Can't wait to see what you do for a wrap on that one.

Yay!! Tela is cabbing ... oh, wait ... sorry I don't know what it is either ... but Tela is cabbing!!! Seriously I've never seen anything like it - could be a one-off from somewhere like burro creek or McDermitt.

Reminds me of a couple of small pieces of highly agatized stromatolite I have with blue agate mixed in, but not as purple as yours appears to be. Larry C.

Seriously I've never seen anything like it - could be a one-off from somewhere like burro creek or McDermitt. LOL!!! Yup, it was warm here yesterday. I got a total of 9 cabs done and a few fixed. I got a late start, so that wasn't too bad. Should be nice today, too. But, I don't have anyone here to help me move Gene. : ( I guess the stone is a stumper. I'd love to put a name to it, but if I can't, I can't.
