On Christmas Day,2013,we came home from an out of town trip to find a Ridgeback in our driveway.Thin, either lost or dumped. To make a long story short,he became my Buddy. Some photos that aren't the quality of Jamesp's,but anyway!! One of Buddys 6 foot leaps trying to get my topshelf cat.Thats where it stays to remain alive. His favorite pastime, chasing field rats out in the pasture Always helping out in the garden Resting with my Chipoo,a fuzzball. Last but not least is my gray haired Boxer,13 years old, doing what he does best these days! Thanks for looking snuffy

I don't know if my girls want open field with Buddy; he looks like a rocket ship. Gameness is in a dogs head and heart, body does not mean much. Of course, for every minute spent running, there is about 30 spent lounging. They can be a lazy sort.
Ours are AKC dogs. If you get a hunting blood line their demeanor is a different game. Sometimes not such good pets. Buddy looks to be a fine specimen, and great pet.

We always had Boxers when I was growing up. They were the dog of choice for my family, so they have a special place in my heart.
Please give your old boy a special hug, a rub behind the ears and a Good Boy for me, because I sure would if I could.

wonderful crew, lucky you that Buddy picked you for his owner. He is beautiful. The dog here and I would love to have a few more pups as pets, but we are out voted by the cat and my husband. Having a houseful would be glorious! thanks for the post.
