I got a box of treasures from iant yesterday in the mail and had a wonderful time sorting and handling the wonderful agates and jaspers he sent. I had asked for a mixed box and he surely delivered! It had polished and rough, cut and uncut, in matrix, with eyes, with fortification, with druzy, as geodes, what a wonderful mix of agate materials. He also included a few polished jaspers, one which seems to have a lot of hematite... very pretty. The mix has already helped me understand the way agates form Seeing some in matrix and in the rough is tremendously informative. A pleasure to examine and learn and just to enjoy. I plan to place the agates in a nice glass jar and put it on my coffee table so I can share the wonder with visitors. Each agate a masterpiece in all
