Another shot of quartz from Hampton Butte. I need to take the pessure washer to it!!

Really neat chunk of rock. Hampton Butte is probably best known for its blue/green petrified wood and agates, but you have something really different there.
Hampton Butte is also listed to have apophyllite and stilbite according to mindat. The golden-yellow in the second photo looks like stilbite and what you think is quartz, may be apophyllite, or white stilbite. A hardness test should remove any doubt as the zeolites are soft and quartz is hard.
The blue green looks like a copper carbonate or sulphate and the tiny red/brown crystals look like copper/cuprite if the blue/green is in fact a secondary (weathered) copper mineral.
Post a few close up photos when you get that piece cleaned up.

I know nothing of minerals, but am willing to learn!
