Made a pair of Montanas since a customer passed on this particular design. I'm kind of glad cause I love the little black dot pattern. A pair of 38mm Leopard Skin Jasper plugs imgur.com/a/6ocKO

Beautiful work I was wondering where you get stuff thick enough to work with and then I figured you must cut your own stock. How thick are most of your plugs?

I feel like rocks have been adultered if they've been cut before me. There are people who will cut them thick for a fee of course. My slabs end up being about 4/8" and thicker.

Please don't take this the wrong way since it's just a bit of jest. But I always wanted to creep up behind someone with plugs and click a padlock thru the hole.

Mine don't hang down to my shoulders like some people. Mine are just a little bigger than earring hole. I always have rocks in my ears so you won't catch me anywhere (not even when I'm sleeping) with something out of my ears. Rocks for life

But since you didn't think my comment was not very nice I might as well tell you that stretched out earlobes are disgusting and show a persons lack of character. At campus and I see a guy with plugs in his ears I think of a non-employable money pit. but hey, make your own decisions.

Hahaha, boy am I naive... I have admired broseph82s ear plugs when he posts them, never realized they were not the type that one puts in to muffle sound, thought they looked a bit large... I was trying to work out how jennielee's padlock trick would work when I finally realized they are adornments. Well. that answers the things I had wondered about stone ear plugs, like how well they block sound, and if they are hard to keep from falling out. My excuse is being from Montana...

At campus and I see a guy with plugs in his ears I think of a non-employable money pit. but hey, make your own decisions. People have been altering and adorning their bodies since the beginning of time. Mummies with tattoos for instance. Intelligence has nothing to do with it. I have a friend that has tattoos and piercings all over his face and I would be willing to bet his IQ is 10 to 15 points above yours and a computer wizz. He works, supports his family and is not a drain on your taxes. I am related to someone that hates tattoos and piercings that is a piece of s... Mooches off of his girl friends parents, can't hold a job and most of the time he doesn't even look for a job. The type of person that thinks just because he is human someone should take care of him. Everyone is entitled to there opinion but stereotyping someone that adorns their body is stupid. Do you use any makeup, hair stylist or anything else to try to make yourself prettier? Same difference is the way I see it. The female altering business takes in billions of dollars because women think they need to alter themselves to be beautiful and yet you put someone down for doing the same thing. Maybe you need to get educated. Jim

adornment noun Simple Definition of adornment : the act or process of making someone or something attractive by decorating : the act or process of adorning someone or something : something added to make a person or thing more attractive I must say, those ear lobes would last about 10 minutes working in a bamboo grove.

Wow, being pretty judgemental, aren't you? Comments like that show lack of character, IMHO. You need to lose the attitude.
Words of wisdom - "If you don't have anything nice to say, say nothing at all." You are young, so hoping you'll grow out of it.
(Jimi, I saw what you had said this morning, I would have left it!)

broseph82, I'm sorry you had to read that opinion. I think body modding is cool. I wouldn't do it- it wouldn't look too good on me at my age, anyway- but more power to people who want to do it. My daughter dated a guy who was a tattoo artist and heavily into modding. He was one of the best looking guys I ever met. He did it well. I secretly wanted his grandchildren. LOL! JK, but he really was a very nice guy. It was sad they broke up. His body mods said nothing negative about him, at all.

You lost me on this one Jean. I did not remove anything so I am stumped. Not unusual for me. Jim
