A buddy of mine just did a fast trip to southern Cal...It was the Caddi Mountains (Probably mispelled)... He found some nice jasper, agates and etc.... He also found some of this type-any ID's on what it is.....Very hard material too,all green in color and desert rust.. If have ID,does it cut good or not???

Might be Epidote and/or Zoisite.
*Edited to say it could also be Epidote w/ pink Orthoclase Feldspar. Basically Unakite. It's hard to tell from the pictures, but the bottom two look like they have a lot of pink.

If that's what it is (Epidote), it takes a great polish. The rust/pink coloring might be a secondary mineral like Zoisite. They're both related and often found together. This is a stone that I think is similar to yours, only the colors have been reversed with it mainly being a pink/salmon color with minor green. The pink is Zoisite var Clinothulite with a pistachio green Epidote band that encircles the stone.
