Well, believe it or not, our ( herchenx and I) lovely ladies allowed us to spend V-day rockhounding instead or romanticizing! It was such a beautiful day in Colorado that we had to get out and see what was being revealed by melting snows. I think John may post a trip report for this short trip but I had to show some of the score here in advance. Here are some of the pieces that I am more excited about. Other than the agate (jasp\agate), I have no idea how to classify the others. I cannot wait to cut this baby and see what lies inside. It almost looks like Bloodstone! It's a nice large piece too. If you know what it is, please let me know. A brecciated something for snowmom to analyze! The agate we were originally looking for. Some of the jasper/agate combo. Yes it really is that bright red! It's pretty amazing in person. Other side of that last piece. Thanks for looking! Hope you are all having a great weekend! ~Roland

yes! that breccia is a winner. I like that the pieces seem to be just slightly melted in there... looks like a load of real nice jaspers... will watch for some of this cut and polished, you are right, they should be good ones! watching with interest;)

Great rocks but the best is hearing that John is getting out and about after his problems. Jim

Enjoyed your Valentines rockhounding trip pics, rockroller, and good news to hear herchenx was out having a good time with you. Hope we'll see some of your cuts on the forum soon and a road trip report from herchenx, too.
