Nice job on the quartz, the shine is great!! Thanks. Every single rock has a nice glassy shine. Not a shine like others here but I'm on my way to get that way eventually. I had to angle all of the rocks in my hand so it wasn't just the shine and reflection showing.

Nice lookin' bunch of tumbles. I can't resist picking up those quartz pebbles any time I go hounding. Make great filler and take a nice shine.

I usually do not check out the tumble threads but came here because of what you had for material. That pink and yellow quartz is hard to tumble without frosting the edges and it looks like you did a great job on it. If you want a truck load or two of that stuff in larger pieces let me know. It is almost impossible to go hounding here and not find some of it. In fact my last post has a photo of a piece I brought home so I could heat it up and lay on it to sooth sore muscles.
Eleventh photo down there is a great picture of a fish just ready to chomp down on a morsel of some kind. The fish with a long snout is facing left. Jim

beautiful rocks with lots of interesting color and texture, good shine! Looks like you might have some feldspar/sunstone in there too! I like some of those grey and white ones that look like they shattered and re formed... love that brecciated look.

Jim I would love as much as you'd be willing to give. They're great as filler and sadly I've used all mine up. I didn't expect these to frost. Never have a hint of frosting. They've also been in the rotary for months too. Dunno if that made a difference. Wife says she wants some bigger pieces of it. Ha snowmom yes, the shattered on the inside look i like too! I glued one to a magnet and its on the fridge now. fantastic5 thanks! They're actually all shinier in person too. I've had to angle every piece to get the reflective shine out or else they were all gonna look like that. The red/pink pieces look outstanding in person.

Weather went to hell again yesterday and the ten day forecast does not look good. I only have two pieces now but I will write myself a note and keep you in mind when I start going out again. When I say bigger I am talking hand and fist to small head size. Jim

You did a great job on those. That quartz is easy to frost. Well done.
