Yup, I called it right on a previous post. YOU DO HAVE THE MAGIC! Those have got to be the best collection of AAA+++ laker agates all in one place, that I have ever seen. Again, keep up the great work, and thanks so much for your sharing with us.

Very nice tumble job! Yours look very nice compared to my first tumble. I was wondering do you use a lapidary wheel to get out the rough spots before you tumble?

Thanks and yes I do use a wheel to reduce the tumbling time on some of them and I have the war wounds to prove it. I never grind my fingers when cabbing but grinding tumbles always ends up with a band aid involved and a little less nail. Grinding laker tumbles is also pretty hard on the wheels too so it may be a toss up on what is cheaper grit or wear and tear on a $250 wheel. Chuck

I have been quitely plugging away at a large batch of Lake Superior agates. I think I have about half of them finished at this point so I figured I better take some photos now before there are way too many to document. Stay tuned for the rest in another month or so. 48. Thanks for looking Chuck Ok, sorry to revive an older thread but I couldn't resist pointing the upper right rock out...is that some type of a panda bear selfie that was fossilized years ago? Did ancient aliens bring a digital camera with them? There's some beautiful rocks in this thread!!!!

Let me ponder this for a while... Ok, you mean my "other right"! That "left" comment confused me for a moment.
