Absolutely insane! Many of these prize specimens that emerge from private collections are better than what many smaller museums can afford to acquire.

Really enjoyed watching and would love to attend an event like that. The closest I can get is going to the National Museum of Scotland and looking at their fairly limited collection. I know there is an extended collection of agates but you have to arrange a visit so see. I should do that right now!

I'm sort of glad I didn't go to Tucson...would have spent a week in that building and wouldn't be able to afford anything.
