really pretty- the beads match perfectly. great tribute to your bead making- a perfectly matched set. how many hours do you think you invested in this? Love how it glows in the light.

snowmom, I probably have around 40 hours into this one. I started it in early Jan, and have worked 4-5 hours on it each weekend since. Each bead takes about 2.5x longer than making a cab, though I am getting faster with practice. The Glow! That was my inspiration for starting the project. I noticed that a double cab I made from the same material really glowed in the light. The back side acts like a focusing mirror so a round stone focuses the light inside the bead, making it glow.
Chuck, I was worried it would be too heavy, but it is less than a pound all together. I imagine it could feel heavy if worn for a long time.
My scrap bucket is a lot heavier for sure. A lot of material was sacrificed to find matching color, and you can still see subtle differences between each bead in low light conditions.
