Do you have any tumble polished pretties for sale or even trade? I've got some travertine and a little candy rock/wonderstone I can trade. I need some that range from 1 inch to maybe 3 inch in size. maybe a MFRB full.
Thanks! Phil

A medium flat rate full of tumbles is a whole lot. I can tell you from experience that a full flat rate of finish tumbles weighs in at 30 pounds.

OK, but I figured with 3 inch size thrown in, it wouldn't be a high number of stones. Weight, yes... But that's OK. I understand anyone not wanting to sell them. There is an area called the Rio Puerco about 30 miles away where I can shovel up river polished stones literally bu the shovel full in a certain spot. They just won't be polished. I may just go there instead. Thanks again.

if you want cheap and polished, check out craft stores, even the craft section in walmart and the like, landscape sections of the same stores, dollar general or dollar tree... many places sell bags of polished river rock in every color imaginable for not that much money. It all depends on what you want and what you will do with it. I have some Rio Puerco rock sent from friends in NM, that is pretty too. happy hunting!

Some landscape companies sell 50 pound bags of tumble polished stones, imported probably. About half of them can be quite attractive. Probably tumbled river rock.
