Here are three of my newest pieces, first is a piece of Varisite wrapped in gold wire, then something a little different, this is a purple quartz bead that is wrapped in silver wire and last but not least a piece of Malachite that is wrapped in gold wire. Varisite in gold Purple quartz in silver o cu Malachite in gold Thanks for looking, Tammy

Oh I do like the purple quartz . And wrapping the Malachite in Gold is a very good idea. I wrap some in sliver and the sliver tarnished and when I went to clean it , I took the polish of the Malachite .

I did the same thing riverrock, what a mess I had after that. I do like it better in gold as well.

Hi! I like all of them. On the Varisite, I notice the smaller loop and how nice it is. I'm a beginner and I've found that making those smaller loops from the bail area is difficult to keep perfectly rounded yet small. I need way more practice to see how wire can work for me the way it does for you and everyone else on the forum!

Thank you Kathy. What i do to make the small loops is I press my pointer finger on the wire and simultaneously twist my right wrist away from me and twist the cab towards me, doing it this way it should give you a smooth, full circle. The only other thing that helps is practice, practice, practice. Hope this helps and best of luck.

That purple quartz pendent is the first ever pendent with wire across the front that I have liked. Delicious. Jim
