so dramatic, I like the pink veins running through it, makes a great contrast- is that common in sodalite ? Gonna have to go do some research. That's really beautiful!

Yes the pink is common, this material came from Africa

I love that material. I think I have always heard the sodalite with pink in it referred to as swirlstone. Always adds a bit of character to it. Fran

Those slabs inspired me. I bid on and won a 4lb 11oz chunk of primo sodalite. Should be here Monday. Now if only mother nature will cooperate so I can do some cutting.
