I picked up some lapis and took a few too the tile saw and ran them in the vib , have not got passed 500 stage yet. I noticed that because they are soft 5.5 mohs scale , they were taking a bit of a shine. So last night I just started to rub this piece with my fingers and its starting to get more of a shine.

Ha ha, I have oily skin too. Kidding, but I'm curious how this project works out and if the lapis actually holds the shine from being rubbed. That's fairly opposite to my personal experience but I am VERY FAR from being an expert.

I really like your lapis tumbles/thumb-polished lapis and the blue wraps, riverrock! Nice shiny pyrite sprinklings in your lapis, too. Do you still have thumb prints? J/K.
