I have finished two of my favorite ones. I guess that's to be expected because usually the 10th wrap is better than the first or second! But for me, it's also the stone and since I'm not working with "nice" stones until my tumbled batch comes out, I can't expect the wraps to look extra good. But this one actually is I believe just faceted glass (looks like a clear quartz). so this one is not any kind of rough stone, so it looks pretty good with the wire. It's a pretty thick one, hard to secure. Here's the back. This one is rough fluorite, about the size of a dime. The front: Here's the side, to show how thick this little sucker really is. Thank you for looking (Alert: pic quality is from phone!)

I like how you made the curls at the bottom of that first one.

Beautiful wraps, KathyG! I love how you are incorporating rough crystals into your wraps. Really like the faceted glass wrap - it's stunning!

your work grows with each wrap you do, I can look at the series you have shown here and see tremendous growth taking place (and all this in such a short time) I suspect you have a gift for this. I'm going to enjoy watching and wonder if you're this good now, where will you be after 10 more. watching with interest.

Wow thank you all so much. As for being gifted in this, it takes me a lonnnggg time to complete a wrap so I'm not sure if that's good, lol! Actually the timing does depend on the stone. I will say I have more patience with this than most other things I've done. I look forward to starting each wrap. I have lots of ideas and designs in mind for the stones I have. Usually if I start a project I want to jump ahead, get it done, but with this, I am not wanting to jump ahead (for example, I am not anxious to get the 'real'wire like gold filled or sterling silver. Until I have lots more wraps done and until they look practically perfect, I won't be buying that wire. Although I do want to see how much better the look of the good wire is compared to my Parawire. But I really am happy with the Parawire.
As long as you all are interested and not bored of my pics, I am very happy to share my stuff with you.

Great job! I love how you are doing a range of different things. It's the only way to learn. At this rate you will be a serious pro in no time!

They are beautiful and you are getting better with every wrap that you complete. Thanks for sharing, Tammy
