I managed to get my depth setting problem solved with a self adjusting tightening screw and a plate. One thing left to do is put a hard plastic face on the front of the guide to reduce the height between the top of the cab and the guide plate to keep shorter cabs from sliding in.

Oh yeah...I just use a water bottle with a aquarium air hose on a shelf with a drip flow control inserted into the line and just stick the hose end near the blade or stone.
