I had to go way back to find this only to figure out that my breccia is much smaller and there is much more separation. Some of it looks pretty close but your pink kicks butt. Jim

So Sabre52 , this morning we went back to talk to the guy we got it from and he really didn't know where it came from. He was more sure of his Stone Canyon identification last year but now he can't seem to remember where it even got it LOL However ... he did have another piece of it so I bought it of course This one weigh close to 30 lbs and hopefully @shotgunner will let me call it a boulder haha. Shore feels like a boulder when I'm lugging it around. It isn't as pink or as brecciated as the first one from what I can see from the outside and the end he had whacked off already - but the other end looks like it's going to be freakin beautiful. I need to get off my arse and get more mineral oil so I can start cutting again haha.

I LOVE IT! I'm a huge fan of breccias as it is and that one just takes the cake. That's some mad and beautiful contrast! edit- I added this comment before I got to the second page. I was going to ask about getting a slab from you but thought better of it..... but now that I see you have 2 .......

Here's the rough piece I have left of this one, it's about 10 lbs. Now that I look at it again I see areas that resemble Stone Canyon. The large slabs I want to take my picture down now after seeing this awesome stuff!!!

Strangely enough I was JUST working on a Tela rocks(!) care package today to send you that piece of sci-fi jasper we talked about a few weeks ago... I'm not sure but I think one of the large slabs of this might have accidentally fallen in the box

I'm a big fan of brecciated material. A wide choice of scenes to use when cabbing. Stefoinite is my favorite followed by stone canyon.

OK I'm happy to say that we've got it (almost) positively identified - a friend saw this post and sent me the following pictures of material he collected at ... ... drum roll please ... Burro Creek, AZ. Sabre52 - what do you think? I'd bet my lunch money it's the same material. I can't find a single element that doesn't match mine.

I'm absolutely convinced. I don't see a single feature that disagrees with it.

Redacted.
The owner of the images texted me. I trust he collected it. I'm out. Burro Creek it is!

I love a good mystery, especially when it is solved.
