I went through my beach pebble collection to organize it a little bit and see if maybe I recognize any material after reading a lot on here and learning a bit, and this rock stood out to me. Is it agate? It's opaque though, but it's got those ... twirly parts ... Ok so I still suck at identifying anything so what is this please? One side And the other side

That's great color. My first reaction was that it was someone's discarded gum (color and shape), but if you do the adequate scratch test (agates are hard), you can)can proclaim an agate find and a pretty one at that. Tom

Yay, I'm excited! This gives me a good idea what to look for next! My mom thought it was ugly and was about to throw it out but I'm glad I decided to keep it, haha.
