I really hope you all are not getting bored with all the groove wraps. I know the wrap part all starts to look the same. I just received the slab for this one in the mail yesterday and could not wait to try it out. The slab was pretty darn pricey but the seller included a small freebie piece and the freebie is what this tiny cab was made from. I had a feeling as I was cabbing it that my wife would claim it and sure enough she did. size comparison And here is the host slab (might have to try stabilizing for the first time ever) Thanks for looking Chuck

Woah, that's beautiful! Never 'tire' of your groove wraps, Drummond Island Rocks. I could look at them all day. Your groovy groove wraps present the stones much better to me as if they were framed. I relate the groove wrap to how faceted gems are set.

beautiful little bone. Lovely cab and wrap. Nope, not tired of seeing your awesome work. Pour it on! The mother bone looks like real nice stuff too. was the little one hard to do? Did you have to stabilize it? I wonder why you might need to stabilize the larger. (just because it is bigger and might get more stressed in the process?) Trying to learn about these things. Thanks!

I like that design how the wrap is flush with the dino. The quality of the dino bone is high.

That's beautiful Chuck! I can see why the wife claimed it. The slab is awesome too - do you think it really needs stabilizing?

That's beautiful Chuck! I can see why the wife claimed it. The slab is awesome too - do you think it really needs stabilizing? My picture of the slab was wet but when dry you can see it has crumbly areas. Even the little cab in the post started off larger but broke at the trim saw. Here is a dry photo. I have never tried any method of stabilizing but paid good coin for this so I want to yield as many cabs as possible. Chuck
