Does it get misty like that often ? Yes, thanks to stagnant conditions and high humidity. Mornings worse. If it is cold the humidity adds to the cold factor. If it is hot, then conditions are miserable. Pickling southern brains to the point we talk weird LOL.

"pickling southern brains to the point we talk weird" LOL, so that's what does it! Living in Atlanta my whole life I meet a lot of Phoenix and LA transplants. They start out sorta bragging about their high temps out west. About August when 90F and 90% RH hits they start a humbling process. I think it effects them more than folks transferring from up north. The Everglades is as bad as it gets. Trade winds clean the upper air so the sun's radiation is strong. Add low altitude humidity and you have a recipe of misery.

Split that thing lengthwise. Make one hell of a smoker & barbeque. Whole hog size.

Split that thing lengthwise. Make one hell of a smoker & barbeque. Whole hog size. I saw that tank at a granite quarry and asked the guy if he wanted to sell it Don. He said I could have it and loaded it straight on my pick-up truck. The problem was the weight, it is a propane tank and them things have thicker metal than expected. The hole tank is 1/2 inch thick, pick-up truck not happy LOL.

jakesrocks What jamesp really needs to do is build a Ultrasonic Vibe to fit that tub. Now that would be one heck of an experiment!........................................MrP

MrP-I was reading what you said about your 45 pound vibe and the challenge it creates doing clean outs. Out of breath just running around doing a clean out on a 14. As far as a barbecue, it would need a hydraulic cylinder to lift the lid. A deceptively heavy tank. Speaking of humidity, rusted ASME nameplate says 1947, jakesrocks just a nymph. Back when they used to build stuff right. Tank ends .290", shell 1/2":

So, what are the plans for the big pig? Born same year as my dad. Thinking along the lines of a submarine...to pursue the Loch Ness monster since you guys can't seem to track him down. He ain't nuthin but a big Scottish gator. Dang Ian, it takes a yankee to get er done. I am not sure, yard art for now. Love old vintage industrial steel stuff. It would be a great land mark for a shop in the city.
