I came across a nice little glass grinder on EBAY and could not resist. $48 included shipping and it has a new edge grinding bit on it. I got it thinking it would be a backup for my original one but now that I have checked it out I think I like it better. Smaller footprint and the top plate is a little more rigid so less flex to worry about when pressing down. I might leave it setup as is for awhile and use up that edge grinding bit on some preforms before converting it to a groove grinder. Thanks for looking Chuck

Fifty bucks and it comes with slotting disc? Look like it will do fine. Does that slotting disc fit the Gryphon? Or maybe you don't know00 because you don't have a Gryphon?
I need to buy a new slotting disc for my Gryphon and I think there like 40 bucks. Does any one know?
Thanks themohs

Can you post the link for the supplier for the wine stoppers, keychain blanks, drawer pull blanks and stuff like that.

Thanks Chuck !
My bit lasted a long time! Probably 5 years & grooved over 1000 pieces of rocks. I bought the Gryphon and bit from a local stain glass shop. That 40 dollar estimate was just off the top of my head. Your link gives me a good ball park figure when I go to purchase a new one.
groove on Man !
