It has been a while but I am slowly getting back into grind of cabbing after being away from the hobby since December due to eye problems. To date I have had 4 eye surgeries. It seems as though all is finally well and my vision has improved so I purchased some slabs to celebrate. Mexican Crazy Lace Kalidescope jaspar Piranha agate Aguar Nueva Botswana Agate Can't wait to start cabbing some of these beauties and also test out some of the new photo equipment I got for Chrisstmas just before the eye problems occured. Very nice slabs. The crazy lace looks like the Laguna lace that I have.

unclestu, I can empathize with you when it comes to eye surgeries. I wish you all the best. Those are all amazing slabs of goodness, but that Kaleidoscope Jasper is killer.

Great slabs and real great photos, Can I ask what camera you are using? I can't take credit for the photos of the slabs. I just saved them from the sellers listing so that I can post them as soob as I could. However I genbrally shoot with a Nikon D200 and moost of the time I shooot in a light box/tent. I agree thst Crazy Lace is unreal. I don't know how that was formed and yes I also had some Leguna that looked very much like this slab. I have been eyeing Kalidascope jaspar for a while now. There is a seller on Ebay who claims to own the claim for this material and he has posted some awesome variatiions odf the material. There seem to be quite a few varieties one nicer than the next. I can see myself getting hooked on this stuff. Though I seem to easily get hooked on most rocks LOL. The Botswana caught my eye because it is quite a large piece and sould produce one nice 3" cab. Yes I wil;l be glad to get back to my photography as well as my rocks. As some of you might recall Just before I developed these eye problems I had just gotten some really cool new photo gear which I have not really had a chance to fully use yet. I or should I say my wife also got a real nice slab of Larimar. My wife wants me to make her a cab from it for a pendant, however she refuses to let me at it until I practice my skills on some lesser grade Larimar. The last Larimar I had just seemed to self destruct in my hands when I was grinding it. Thank you all for your kind words and I am happy and thankful to be ready and able to resume cabbing again. Stu

Love that jasper, what a bunch of cool color in it. And the Crazy Lace, you can't go wrong with that.
