wow, what a rush of color! Looks like very hard and complex material, love those reds! I'm only on my 3rd tumble as well, waiting for the garage to thaw out to complete it... watching with interest. welcome to the boards.

Amy,
Love your tumble! I am new too. What happened to your harbor freight tumbler? I just bought one this weekend to go along with my vibe.

There sure is a rainbow mix of colors you have. Have you thought what you are going to do with all your shiny rocks? They add up fast.

Wild variety. Great finish considering the broad mix. Well done.

Thanks folks. Rockymom, that little sucker is still going strong. I just use it for rough tumbles. Snowmom, I hate to say this, but I will probably only get one more round out before I have to take a summer break. It's already in the 90s. That's the fun of living in the desert. Riverrock, they're probably going in a jar on shelf for now. I have a two year old nephew who "steals" the big ones.

You make me desperate to get my thunder eggs finished tumbling but I'm so sloooooowwww. They're still in 220/120...some of mine are Hausers too, I hope they come out as good as yours. I've never tried this material in a tumbler before.

Peachfront, I had no idea what they would do in a tumbler, but they're kind of neat! It's almost as much fun as cutting them. You really don't know what you've got until it's done. I expect yours will be better since there are quite a few I'm going to start over since I think they will show a little more of the guts with more time in the tumbler. I look forward to seeing yours when they're done.

I like hearing about the regional differences we all live with, conditions to hunt rocks, the rocks we find, the way we work them. Adds spice to it all. Bless that 2 year old, you're starting him off right. Pebble pup now, rock hound when he's big enough to carry the biggest finds for you!
