From a new spot last summer Sawn face: Outside of above sawn coral Sawn face: Outside of above Middle one is petrified oyster with sponge borings Grey face is sun facing polyps, yellow is side of tubes Top is sun facing polyps

the colors are amazing. that 2nd one seems deeeeeep. Neat as the jaspers in that every region or location seems to have its own "kind". Do you keep marked samples from each place you collect them?

I can look at them and know where they are from snowmom. So little of it is exposed, only by rivers and bodies of water. It is underground for a vast area, I am sure I have found only a fraction of the variations. The coral near the ocean is often pink, I have not spent much time collecting it. Color a function of the minerals and salts it was formed in.

not unlike other rock, though this was once living things. So cool! Get some of that pink!
