I have been dying to go out hounding but have been busy with other things. Finally got to go out yesterday. I met up with Rockhobbit and we went to some local spots to check them out. We found a cool site outside of Wickenburg where we found desert glass. We thought that was all we were gonna find but then found another place with some promising chrysocolla. Desert glass Chrysocolla The small pieces (some of these are tiny and a lot are crumbly but really pretty color) Larger (wet) pieces Most promising piece - this may just be paint on the surface but looks like the color may go all the way through. In all a great trip and got to see lots of desert blooms (posted pics on another thread)

The rocks are nice and all, but it is more important that you got some Sheri time.

I put on my seer hat, looked into the future and saw HXTAL written all over your bathroom walls.
It can be crumbly but the WOW factor on a finished cab/bead is worth the cost of HXTAL. I think. I got mine free so I can not be sure until I run out. Jim

Never heard of it being called pig agate. I might have to get out the saw again and try to cut it. Jim, never used that stuff but since I don't have equipment right now it may be in the far distant future.
