Ca coastline seems so exotic to me. Truly a foreign landscape and one i'll never see in person most likely, so it is a treat to be able to see it here. Those yellow flowers look like some sort of orchid? beautiful country, looks like a great time. thanks for the show.

snowmom: glad to provide you glimpses of our coast. It's not all white, sandy surfing beaches (In fact, some of the rocky beaches have more surfers), but it is dramatic, especially the Central and North coasts. Hope you are able to see it in person some time. The yellow flowers are yellow monkeyflowers (Mimulus guttatus), and not related to orchids, although they do bear some resemblance.
