Howdy folks, The flowers are really a'popping now. here are just a few fast and dirty pics with my little camera. I'd use the Canon except everything has to be resized and that's a royal pain...Mel I love unusual color variants. This is a Blue Eyed grass ( Iris group) where some are white. Only one like this in the yard. Unusual pale orange Texas Paintbrush. Usual color Texas Paintbrush. Have huge clumps of these now. Cedar Sage. Grows in the shade beneath cedars. Kind of a weed but hummingbirds love this stuff. Finally, one of the many Pentstemmons we have in raised beds all over the yard. They don't bloom long but are spectacular and love rocky hill country gardens. This one grows beneath a Kidneywood. If you like to see wild bees and wasps, kidneywood is crazy with them when it blooms. I've counted a couple dozen species at once on that plant.

Your cedar sage reminds me of our coral bells. Love spring blooms.
