I do have some turquoise rough for sale. I'm in Ogden, UT right now for their annual gem show and will/should be home Monday night. I can contact you then. Typing long messages from my yell phone is a pain. Or you can search back a month or two in this section of the RTH forum and find more info.

I bought 15 pounds about 2 months ago and it turned out to be about 14.5 pounds of host rock.
I bought 5 pounds of kingman about a month ago that was absolutely amazing.
I bought 22 pounds of number 8 about a week ago that is turning out to be mediocore.
I'm looking for some more now and I really don't care for eBay that much people on there think turquoise is gold or something. LoL
Anyone have any they want to shoot my way I'll definitely put it to good use.

Me too! Try Indian jewelry Supply, Thunderbird Jewelers supply and even Alltribes. But good quality turquoise is not going to be dirt cheap.

Oh I know. I buy from all 3. I go through about 50 pounds a month the people at alltribes love me. I get really great deals there but sometimes you can go on forums like this and find someone that has some they put back for years. Stuff you can't find anymore unless you are wanting to pay a small fortune for them.
I even buy direct from mines. And get okay deals there too but I've been dealing with mine owners for 25 years so they know me well.

50 lbs a month? Must be running a high volume shop.. That's a LOT of turquoise! What do you do with the trims, scraps and floor drops? I've been buying locally at $12 per pound for nice clean blue material, but everyone is currently out.

Yeah I've been making jewelry for a long time now and have other shops I make things for as well.
There is a guy in my town that teaches underprivileged children lapidary and jewelry making. I donate what I don't use to them. I like to try and give back to the community.

Scored a couple pounds of nice, medium grade Kingman today for $45 per pound. Asked for more, should come next week on approval. <G>
