I got my eyes open for some calico lace, if anyone happens to have some. I love that stuff, it's so pretty & fun to work with!

I was watching that one too but I really like the ones that have clear agate areas where you can see inside to the pinks and purples. Those hurt the pocket book though. Chuck

Donnie, Man I wish rockyraccoon ( Kim) was still on here. She used to get in the most wonderful Calico lace and sell it for really reasonable prices. It seems to have gotten quite scarce lately and I've seen very little even at shows. May have something to do with export rules for rough rock. There are two forms, one from Mexico which is almost never seen and IMHO not as nice as the African stuff, and one from Africa, and some African nations are now more about exporting finished items rather than rough rock.....Mel

Would you say this is Mexican or African? Chuck

Chuck. My best guess would be that's African material. The Mexican stuff tends to not have pinks though it can have a little purple and the plumy bits look a bit different, with less defined centers.....Mel

Yeah, I saw those 2 little pieces. I don't want it that bad!!!!!! That's just a little bit ridiculous!!! However, I am watching both pieces just to see how long they stay there at that price.
