There are certainly a wide variety of colors, patterns, and shapes. I like them all...a lot! Were some of those "heat treated"?

They are all beautiful!! Kinda makes it all worth it. It's an easy hobby to enjoy. Some folks don't get it. I say it is their loss Jean.

Shiny, indeed, and beautiful tumbles, jamesp! I just started the load of granite and labra with 275/325 garnet grit out of SiC 220. At 35 cents per pound I could not resist trying the garnet grit. Clay and garnet grit. I tripled the grit dose since it was so cheap. I know the clay will carry it. Hoping that both the clay and garnets will breakdown to the point of polish. Got faith in them garnets. Will see.
