Lake Huron may not have many agates but once in a while she coughs up a gem. I have found several of these in the past and gave them away to people to cut. This one may stay at home and become a pet.

snowmom where is the Schiller? I don't see it for some reason. Very cool looking colors photographing schiller in this one is as bad as trying to take pics of labradorite or mica... those little/big shiny plates that catch the light and make it shimmer seem to come to a complete standstill when you click the camera. all the crinkly green/yellow/red surfaces you can see in both photos have that sparkle and shine. I'd probably have to take a movie to capture it (not able to do that)
