HOLY MOLLY!!! Great loking "Jade"!!! As said those knives are crazy cool...........I need to did my "Jade" out and get to work on it....

The "jade" I have is always identified by its real identity (I.e. Vesuvianite). One or two pieces are barely there and crappy quality, but other than that, good, solid jade, mostly Big Sur and North coast stuff. One of these days, when I'm properly set up for it, I am going to try making a knife.

One of these days, when I'm properly set up for it, I am going to try making a knife. Okay, so it turns out that the Turkish lavender jade is only about 80% jadeite. Don't know what the rest is. Not exactly a simulant, but I guess that makes it a rock, not a mineral.
