To be honest I don't think I ever asked or was told but if I had to guess I would say Utah. I have seen green bone from Montana but it was turtle bone. I got it from Scott Nelson(escalante rock shop). His polishing guy offered it to him and Scott showed me a photo soon after. Its a big chunk. 6 pounds. This was one of my very first dino bones.

I have one small piece of green Dino bone,it's only "Oz"'s not #'s...LOL I think it was from Utah...
