Tammy and I needed some "US" time,so headed up to the Cascade Mountains near here(Oregon)...... An old wheel house in the lower mountains... Local waters to the lake are really low this year-but the view is still great.. I'm sitting on a stump that should be under 35 feet of water...LOL Should have videoed the waters..........Love the sound of rushing waters in the mountains..
The local Canadian Honkers nest in this area............. Second set of geese with their family... The local wild flowers in that area.... Great view-but this boardwalk should have 12 feet of water on both sides of it... Birds everywhere... The waterline should be right up to where we were standing... One of the 12 mountains in the area-Mount Jefferson.not much snow up there either... My Tammy............. It was a great day,the finish was a local cafe-we both had their "Southwestern" bacon, cheese and Jalapeno burger..... It was a "Two Thumbs" up day-thanks for looking and EYYYYYYYYY!!!

love it! Really cool picture of the old water wheel and the house... pretty rare to find those anymore, almost anyplace. do you know what that one was used for? Sorta scary about the lack of water. So beautiful though, I'm glad you took pictures and posted them for us! Thanks for the show!

We have some of your geese around here in Central Texas. They decided to stay 7 or 8 years ago.Make the rounds of all the area ponds. They walk behind my house stripping the Bahia grass seed stalks. Love to see and hear them honking as they fly low over my house to make a landing in my pond.I guess we are lucky they don't overproduce young, too many critters, fire ants, etc. snuffy

The geese have taken over our local golf course. Lots of great green grass year around. The golfers aren't particularly happy about it. OH well... Bob
