I have a chunk of Owyhee about 4x5x6 and have cut some slabs. If there were interest I would cut some more for sale. Here are some sample slabs I've cut from the piece.  3" tall  4x3" |

Let me know what would be fair. Obviously some slabs are going to be better than others and would be priced accordingly. I'm looking for a range. Thanks. |

I've seen slabs in that size range going for $26.00 to $35.00 per slab, but that is from a high priced seller who sells crack free top grade slabs. On one of his bid items I just won a 5-1/4 lb chunk of Wild Horse picture jasper for $11.65.
At the same time, the same seller offers slabs of this material for bids, with a starting bid of $9.99. I've won several slabs from him at the starting price. I suspect this is because he is on the high end price wise, and people avoid bidding on his materials because they expect the bids to go higher.

Do you do eBay stardiamond? I'd recommend putting them up for auction there and let the public at 'em. I watch these types of slabs on eBay every day and they can bring some pretty nice prices (to the seller!). Go do an advanced search on eBay for completed listings for Owyhee slabs and see for yourself. You're either going to be "fair" here and list below what they could actually bring you or receive low offers via PM. |
