Hey all. A fellow rock lover gave me these pieces he got down in AZ and he wasnt sure what it is. Chromium diopside? Tourmaline? Bery? Anyways I think theyre pretty neat! Been awhile since ive posted pictures and not too savvy with technology, anyways here is my attempt again ha.

Honestly, no no clue orrum! Im just curious as to what hes located. Pretty neat all the less! Deposit sounds right for finding, lack of better words "gems". Anyways, thanks for the interest in what it is

I'm not really a mineral guy. I'd guess maybe non gemmy epidote but it would only be a guess. There are some knowledgeable mineral guys here. Maybe they will chime in...Mel

I know a place down in AZ where there is all kinds of it. Never figured out what it was. No one else had an idea either.

Thanks a bunch for those sites. Lots of those listing dont seem to have the same color but maybe what I have is a lower grade of epidote? I really need to make up an i.d. kit. Itd help out alot im sure! Thanks again vegasjames!

That is where he found it Mark but no clue as to where. We got to talking yesterday but I have yet to get directions.

If so, the spot I was finding it is due south of Aguila.
I have GPS coordinates.
