Sorry I can't do pics. However I found some abandoned rocks in Quartzsite. Quite a few of them are like nodules and where they are busted open they look like the Stone Canyon tumbles that Mel/Sabre posted on here somewhere. The only difference is they don't have the reddish lines of his. They are gold with jagged clear milky lines. They might have other colors inside . They are tennis ball size to a little bigger than a golf ball. Does Stone Canyon come in nodules?

orrum, Nope. Stone Canyon is a big wide lens or vein outcrop. It's mostly in big ole jagged hunks not nodules. There are brecciated jasper types that are almost septarian looking nodules and there are breccated concretions that are highly replaced with silica and are pretty much jasper too. There is a location not far from Santa Barbara, CA that has those nodular type jasper specimens....Mel
