There is a "turkeytail jasper" though I don't seem to be able to Google it. Mushroom jasper apparently comes in both white on green and white on brown patterns....Mel

Mushroom jasper from Az. that I have seen 8s some ugly tough, full of great big holes and lumpy uhly. When slabbed you have to find a spot without holes lumps etc to trim out a cab. Makes nice cabs tho! The club in Quartzsite just filed on a nice Mushroom claim. a wanna go this winter Tommy. Yea I know I hate you but I can get past that for a days hounding! LOL

Tony has Turkey Tail you have to slab it in the right orientation. Seems like he hounded it up his way in Idaho or Oregon.

Hey Mel maybe I remember Tony telling me this jasper which I can't remember the name of was called Turkey Tail when you slabbed it a certain way. My mind sorta is spongy sometimes....
