I got my new QT66 from & grit pack from the Rockshed. The High Speed Mod. B went back to MidwayUSA. I really like the QT66. It is very nicely made. I loaded up both barrels with Amephyst I had collect from CO. Some we bigger pieces I had to break apart with a hammer. All the rocks were pretty jagged/ragged when I put them in the barrels. I followed the instructions in the book that came with the tumbler and the tutorial I printed off this forum. After 24hrs I checked them and all seems well. I already see a big difference as the stones are smooth and the rough spots seem to be gone. They are already looking pretty. I then put the lids back on and started them rolling again. I have only been at it a day but I am enjoying it. Kind of a stress reliever. I am going to have to place another order with the rock shed. My dog, the one pictured in my avatar pic, found my bag of grit while I was at work. He didn't mess with the grit to much but the plastic beads were all over my living room.

His poop ought to be interesting! Must be one heck of a tumbler if the rocks are smooth and the rough spots are gone in just 24 hours. Keep 'em rollin'!
