Hubby is on the anti-hoarding warpath so I have to sell a few more items and make some space before I can get anything new. I'm going to offer the four nodules I previously posted to the rock ID thread, yeppers, that means I don't know what this highly agatized brecciated or thunderegg material is called. Get it now before I find out and raise the price, ha ha. Here are the four pieces with the ruler at the bottom in INCHES: We cut off ONE SLAB that we are keeping but I will show you the photo to give you an idea of the quality of this material. However, the slab is NOT included in the sale. You are getting four half nodules (well, in one case, not quite the entire half of the nodule). Not polished or anything else, that's for you to do. If they look polished, it's because I photo'd wet to give you a better idea of the quality. Anyway here's what we're keeping but we believe you can get several more slabs just as good or better using your own saw: An attempt at an extreme close-up/magnified piece: Medium Flat Rate Priority Mail Shipping within the US. For your protection and mine, I only take Paypal payments. I can send you a Paypal invoice on request. Total price INCLUDING the roughly $13 shipping/Paypal fee is all-in $21. Message me or post here with any questions or both. I apologize in advance if anyone is seeing these photo twice, I was hoping to get an ID on them so that's why I started with the Rock ID forum first. Thanks as always.

I'll probably leave this post up one more week or until it's gone. If anyone is seeking any particular rough, let me know, and I'll see if I have it because hubby is getting a bit impatient for me to clear some space.

Male; seeking the timeless beauty of Indian Paint Stone rough for long term relationship. Badly fractured individuals need not apply, but no objection to chunky shapes and plus sizes. Long walks on the beach doubtful. What else ya got? Been concentrating on rarer high quality west coast specimens lately. No room for junk rocks.

I never knew why people on here decline getting rocks in return until i did some swaps on another site and received a bunch of junk.

I certainly hope that it didn't seem that I was talking about the rocks for sale here!!! They look very interesting.
I was speaking of other/future pieces that may be offered from whomever.
Like you Jimi, I have received rocks here which were far less than desirable. I have even received rocks -which I paid for- that went straight into the trash. I just wouldn't ever do business again with those folks that think they can pass off their garbage as worthwhile rocks. With true rock collectors, one man's junk isn't necessarily another man's treasure.

The rocks are the exact rocks I plan to ship. Always have been, always will be. If anyone is ever unhappy with a swap or sale, please let me know. My items are guaranteed, and I always go through Paypal. I will freely admit I'm not great at identifying stuff. But if someone doesn't like what they get, just let me know within a reasonable amount of time...I won't say everything I sell is Grade A but I try to clearly label the quality. I actually think these rocks are pretty solid -- in fact their faces seem to be too large for what I'm able to do right now (cabs & tumbles).
At the moment I'm not doing swaps because I simply have no more room...I've been quite happy with my swaps but unfortunately I'm getting a lot of pushback about the need for more working space in our workshop. :-)
In the past, I tried requesting small items in exchange for larger boxes, but people don't want to do that. I think they feel guilty because they always sent back as much or more as I sent out...

I better mention if you have a request for rough, since I have stuff that I don't really know what it is, maybe you could link me to pic of something similar to what you're looking for. And I could just look around and see if I have it. Then I could post pictures here and we could take it from there...I'm on insta all the time posting rock photos so it really isn't any trouble...
