Beautiful, James! If you were to quit mowing, pruning, cutting back, etc., how long do you think it would take Mother Nature to reclaim it all? Good thing you don't have kudzu there...
Deer poo is one thing that Lucy will not eat. But only because she does not have access to it, lol!

Deer poo is one thing that Lucy will not eat. But only because she does not have access to it, lol! 7 days after a good rain, 3 weeks with no rain. For mowing. Back to a natural 'grown over state', two years and it would be a mess. I have a souped up mower that is rated for 16 acres per 8 hour shift. I put a 3/4 cam in the Briggs, it spins very fast. It puts a whooping on that space. Torched the guard/shroud off to expose the blades to clip the water edges. It is a bit of a widow maker but gets it done. Kudzu in 4 spots on farm but it is a legume and the deer eat it before it can ascend into the trees. All ya got to do is cut any vines to ground level so the deer can keep the new growth in check at ground level. My neighbor asked me where i grow the funny weed last week and I told him on the other side of my property line. To avoid property confiscation(mine anyways). He probably took a walk to check his property for Mary Jane. He said that is not funny. LOL. poor Ray. He is a black fellow and he is always batting me off his wife.

Beautiful area,I bet you never get tired of that view buddy!!! You can fish that lily pond and catch 3-4 pound bass one after the other. But you gotta use a cane pole and stiff line or he will wrap up in the lilies. A frog as big as your fist and he is gobbled up.

I have a 60 inch cut Bad Boy zero turn with a 27 hp Kohler that will flat haul! Owners manual says 7-8 mph average and it will mow 6 inch tall grass at full speed ahead

Owners manual says 7-8 mph average and it will mow 6 inch tall grass at full speed ahead It's not pretty radio, but it does have a dedicated 20+ HP to the 3 blades. 60 inch width. No hydraulic pumps or drive train for propulsion since it gets pulled by an ATV. It is lightweight for wet areas and the left side has the shroud cut away to hedge bamboo, pond edges, etc. It is over 20 years old and simple. Modified 18 HP Briggs. Made a loose rope pull start for it(atop engine). It is a Woods brand, deck from their 40HP PTO finish mower so it is real heavy. Have laid out the grassed areas over the years so that this mower will cut it all since it is not good for tight turns and backing up.

I sent photos of my place to Pinewood studios, about 10 miles from my house. To see if I could lease property as a film site. Was thinking long shot. I live in a mini Hollywood, they are always filming movies around my area. Surprise, got a email back from them :
"Hi Jim,
Kevin here with Pinewood Atlanta. Thanks for reaching out with your location. It's quite unique and a very good looking property. We work with clients that require a variety of locales and practical locations so we'd be very interested to speak to you more about your property and potential ways we can work together.
I'm back in Georgia next week and available to hop on a call when you're available."
Pinewood studios is a quite a big operation. The facility here has it's own Home Depot. Just completed, employs several thousand. Many other studios close by. Tyler Perry and Burt Reynolds own two of them. Was thinking the constructed wetlands and bamboo would be useful for back drops. Lots of service roads.
I wanna part as a zombie, maybe they need a porn star-kidding, would fall short on that one LOL.
